Was ist NIR-Spektroskopie? (einfache Erklärung, einfach erklärt)

In den meisten Fällen leuchtet eine gewöhnliche Halogen Lampe deren harmlose Strahlung auch den Nah-Infrarot (NIR) Bereich beinhaltet auf die Probe und das reflektierte Licht wird gemessen. Das Licht verliert etwas Energie an und in der Probe, abhängig von deren physikalischen Beschaffenheit und chemischen (Molekular) Struktur. Der fehlende Teil des Lichts ergibt ein Fingerabdruck der Probe, der mathematisch analysiert wird mittels vorgefertigten NIR Kalibrationsmodellen (erzeugt mit chemometrischen Methoden) basierend auf bekannten Proben. Dies ermöglicht es, gleichzeitig mehrere physikalische- und chemische Eigenschaften (Bestandteil, Zutaten,  Analyt) innert wenigen Sekunden und für die Proben zerstörungsfrei zu bestimmen.
